The Happenings are a pop music group that originated in the 1960s. The Happenings are a pop act formed in Paterson, New Jersey in 1965. The original members were Bob Miranda, David Libert, Tom Giuliano and Ralph DiVito, but in the future the lineup would shift. In 1968 DiVito left, and Bernie LaPorta came to replace him. A newer addition to the group, Lenny Conforti, also arrived.
12. Apr. 2011 · The original group was a New Jersey-based bunch that came together in the early 1960s, and it included Bob Miranda, David Libert, Tom Giuliano and Ralph DiVito. Over the years there were occasional personnel changes and the member count fluctuated from three to five, but Miranda has been the one constant, and he remains so today.
Mini Bio. Tom is from the New York City and grew up on the Upper West Side. He attended New York University with a BA degree in Cinematography, attended The Sorbonne, in Paris where he studied Film Theory with Christian Metz. He then received a Masters in Theater from the University of Colorado.

Members of the original group, created in 1965, all hailed from Paterson, New Jersey, USA and consisted of Bob Miranda, David Libert, Tom Giuliano and Ralph DiVito. In 1968, DiVito was replaced by Bernie LaPorta. Lenny Conforti also joined at this time to play drums in the touring band.
