This version lasted just six weeks, with drummer Grace departing. The group took a heavier musical direction in April of 1976 with the addition of new drummer Tony Petri, who was heavily influenced by Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Slade, and Alice Cooper.

Tony Petri took over on drums a few months later. Neill left two years later in December 1978, with his place taken by Mark "The Animal" Mendoza.

27. Jan. 2016 · This was always my favourite Twisted song back in the early ‘80s. I even remember all the drum fills from the original version on the Ruff Cuts EP (with Tony Petri on drums), and the later version that became the title track on their debut album.

Tony Petri was drummer with Twisted Sister from 1976 to December 1980. He joined the New York glam metallers replacing Kevin John Grace. When Tony and the band parted ways, he was followed up by Ritchie Teeter.
