In 1984–85 Browne composed and performed the music for the British television series Travelling Man, in collaboration with the programme's producer Sebastian Graham-Jones. The soundtrack was released on vinyl and CD. The track reached number 68 in the UK Singles Chart in December 1984. [4]

Always keen to diversify, Duncan wrote the music to numerous television and film productions, including the BBC1 series Travelling Man and BBC2's period drama series Shadow Of The Noose. May 1993 saw the tragic loss of this talented musician and composer, after a three year battle against cancer.

23. Juni 2022 · After his fourth album streets of Fire (1979) Duncan Browne's momentum in the music business was gradually lost. The next and final album during his lifetime (Songs of Love & War was a fine, posthumous release from 1995) was not a regular album but a soundtrack for a TV series called Travelling Man, "composed and performed by Duncan Browne & Sebastian Graham-Jones" as indicated on the album cover.
