This is an exquisite collection of standards performed by the great Rosemary Clooney. I suspect it's a tribute to Billie Holiday, as many of these are songs were famously recorded by "Lady Day". Clooney is an expressive vocalist, and excels with sad/mournful numbers, as are several on this release.
