Ronald David „Ron“ Wood, auch Ronnie Wood, ist ein britischer Rockmusiker, der als Mitglied der Jeff Beck Group, der Faces und seit 1975 der Band The Rolling Stones bekannt ist. Er spielt Gitarre und E-Bass.
Der Filmemacher Mike Figgis ("Leaving Las Vegas - Liebe bis in den Tod") zeichnet ein intimes Porträt von Ronnie Wood, Mitglied der legendären Band The Rolling Stones, und zeigt ihn als Künstler, Musiker und Überlebenskämpfer.
Wood began his career in 1964, playing lead guitar with several British rhythm and blues bands in short succession, including the Birds and the Creation. He joined the Jeff Beck Group in 1967 as a guitarist and bassist, playing on the albums Truth and Beck-Ola.
