Tsung-Dao Lee (Chinese: 李政道; pinyin: Lǐ Zhèngdào; born November 24, 1926) is a Chinese-American physicist, known for his work on parity violation, the Lee–Yang theorem, particle physics, relativistic heavy ion (RHIC) physics, nontopological solitons, and soliton stars.
Tsung-Dao Lee was a Chinese-American theoretical physicist who received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1957 for his work on the renormalizable field theory model. He was the second youngest scientist ever to win this distinction and has published over 300 scientific papers and several books on various topics of physics.
