Two Sides of Peter Banks is the debut album by ex-Yes, Flash, and Syn guitarist Peter Banks. It features contributions from members of several progressive rock bands, including Genesis ( Phil Collins and Steve Hackett ), King Crimson ( John Wetton ) and Flash (Ray Bennett and Mike Hough).

In 1973 Banks recorded his debut solo album, Two Sides of Peter Banks. It was recorded at the same time as Out of Our Hands, with Banks working with Flash during the day and travelling to a different studio to work on his own at night.
by Joe McGlinchey. The original Yes guitarist’s solo debut, made at some point while he was in Flash, features quite a line-up of guest artists. Predominantly, these are Jan Akkerman of Focus, who is Banks’ main collaborator, Phil Collins, and Flash bandmates Ray Bennett and Mike Hough.
15. Nov. 2007 · Two Sides of Peter Banks meanders something awful, as if the guitarist never got around to finishing it. In its defense, there are some brilliant prog passages on the first side that anticipate the work of Anthony Phillips and Steve Hackett (who actually appears on one track). Other bands that come to mind are Camel, ELP and, of course, Flash.
