Das UWC Mostar liegt in der Stadtmitte von Mostar, dem Zentrum Herzegowinas, einer historischen Landschaft in Bosnien und Herzegowina. Das Wahrzeichen Mostars ist die „Alte Brücke“ oder Stari most über die Neretva, die von 1556 bis 1566 erbaut wurde.

UWC Mostar is the twelfth college in the United World Colleges family, and the fourth college in Europe . UWC Mostar was founded as a joint initiative of UWC and the International Baccalaureate Organization, with the aim to support the peace process in the country and the region.
