These barriers exist across the state’s 58 counties.

  4. The report not only helps to offer a deeper understanding of what CCSWG does, but also provides the context for why the work is necessary and articulates the unique urgency of the moment for women and families in California struggling under the COVID-19 pandemic.

  5. The work ahead for 2024 is just as ambitious in the pursuit of equity and justice for all women and girls, and we look forward to continuing this critical work on behalf of the women who are essential to California’s continued growth and global economic leadership.
