Die ehemalige Fakultät für Chemie und Pharmazie an der Universität Tübingen entstand aus der Mathematisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät, die 1863 als eigenständige Naturwissenschaftliche Fakultät gegründet wurde. 1969 wurde diese Fakultät in Fachbereiche aufgeteilt.
