She is also a critical care physician at MGH and a lecturer at Harvard Medical School, and has spoken and written about the impact of climate change on human health and health systems. She is the Special Envoy for Climate Change and Health since 2023, and the co-founder of the COP28 Presidency.

As a medical doctor and global health expert, Dr. Kerry will play a pivotal role in amplifying WHO’s climate and health messaging and undertake high-level advocacy.
