Charles Vincent Massey PC CH CC CD FRSC ( hon) [n 1] (February 20, 1887 – December 30, 1967) was a Canadian diplomat who served as Governor General of Canada, the 18th since Confederation. Massey was the first governor general of Canada who was born in Canada after Confederation.

Charles Vincent Massey, PC, CC, CH (* 20. Februar 1887 in Toronto; † 30. Dezember 1967 in London, Vereinigtes Königreich) war ein kanadischer Diplomat und Politiker. Nach fast zwei Jahrzehnten Tätigkeit als Botschafter war er von 1952 bis 1959 der 18. Generalgouverneur von Kanada und der erste Kanadier, der dieses Amt innehatte.

Vincent Massey was the first Canadian appointed to the post of Governor General, and he served from 1946 to 1959. He promoted Canadian unity and identity, strengthened the bond with the Crown, and supported the arts, education and sciences. He also created the Governor General's Awards, the Gold Medal, and the Massey Lectures.

Vincent Massey was no stranger to public service. He was educated at the University of Toronto, and at Oxford, and lectured for a time at the University of Toronto. His brother, Raymond Massey, was a leading actor on the screen and stage. He was Canadian Minister to Washington for four years and was High Commissioner in London from 1935 to 1946.
