Vittorio Gregotti was a leading figure of Italian and global architecture, who studied at the Politecnico di Milano and the MSA, and collaborated with Casabella and the MSA. He designed buildings, urban plans, and theoretical works on the relation between architecture and the city, the territory and geography. He also directed the Venice Biennale's visual arts sector and wrote Il territorio dell'architettura.
