Vladimir Voronin (pronounced [vladiˈmir voˈronin]; born Vladimir Bujeniță, 25 May 1941) is a Moldovan politician. He was the third President of Moldova from 2001 until 2009 and has been the leader of the Party of Communists of Moldova (PCRM) since 1994.

Vladimir Voronin was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the MSSR of 10 th and 11 th legislatures. Also, he was a deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova of 14 th-18 th legislatures. Mr. Voronin was in office of President of the Republic of Moldova during April 4, 2001-September 11, 2009. He is married and has a daughter and a son.
