War Eagle is very remote. From Rogers or Eureka Springs, take Highway 62 and turn onto Highway 303, a small rural road. From Springdale or Huntsville (Arkansas), take US-412, and turn onto Highway 303. War Eagle Bridge, a historic, iron, one-lane bridge that crosses the War Eagle River next to the mill. Open to car and foot traffic.War Eagle Fair, Arts and crafts fair often held at the beginning of May and towards the end of October. There are over 300 booths and 130,000 visitors each year to the fair. Free of charge.
During the fair this is the best place to purchase Ozarks arts and crafts. Over $1 million in sales is made each year.

Known for its proximity to mega craft fairs each fall, War Eagle Mill near Rogers, Arkansas, is worth visiting any time of year. But let’s face it: Amazing as it is, would you drive 2.25 hours just to see the mill on War Eagle Creek? Unlikely. What about a mill-centered day trip that includes hiking or floating and other outdoor recreation fun?
The War Eagle Mill is a working gristmill that was originally built in 1832. Unfortunately, the mill has been destroyed three times, once due to a flood, and twice by fire. The first fire was set by Confederate soldiers to keep it from being used by the Union during the Civil War.
