Ford's second solo album Weary and Wired was released on March 13, 2007, on Shrapnel Records' subdivision Blues Bureau. Coinciding with the album release , was Ford's feature interview on the cover of jam-band oriented music magazine Hittin' the Note (Issue #52).

Nach It's About Time ist Marc Ford mit "Weary And Wired" ein großartiges zweites Soloalbum gelungen. Abstriche gibt es lediglich für den etwas schwankenden Sound (es wurde wohl in mehreren Studios aufgenommen) und den bei wenigen Stücken etwas schwachen Gesang. Ich für meinen Teil würde in jedem Fall knappe 8,5 von 10 Rocktimes-Uhren ...
