    We maintain strong relationships with local theatres and performing groups to help you build professional and personal connections as you progress in the Musical Theatre program. For example, we share our space with a LORT B theatre company, and Musical Theatre majors can take classes with the company.

    We intentionally keep our class sizes small (typically around 15 students) to provide meaningful opportunities for Musical Theatre majors to work closely with our expert faculty, who are union-affiliated professionals in the College of Fine Arts.

    Webster has an ongoing partnership with the internationally acclaimed Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, where you can study alongside renowned theatre production designers and experience backstage jobs in a lively international theatre scene.

    Webster offers a variety of scholarshipsexclusively for Musical Theatre students. We are committed to helping you start your career with as little financial burden as possible.

    As a Musical Theatre major, you’ll take a unique combination of courses covering a broad range of practical topics — including acting, voice and speech, yoga, Shakespearean drama, musicianship, various Broadway genres and advanced Musical Theatre dance courses.

    There’s no better preparation to become a Broadway star than learning and performing on stage for your peers and others.
