What Color Is Love is a 1972 studio album by American musician Terry Callier. Released by Cadet Records, it is Callier's third album and the second of a trilogy that he recorded in short succession for Cadet with producer Charles Stepney. It has received positive critical reception.

Aug. 2022 · Title track “What Color Is Love” is a simple musing on the nature of love: “Does it glow like an ember / And do you remember / If love doesn’t last / Does it live in the past.” The soaring strings of Stepney’s production and the splashes of cymbal that punctuate its progress lift the song on wings to greater heights.
