William Brown (* 22. Juni 1777 in Foxford, County Mayo; Irland; † 3. März 1857 in Buenos Aires) war ein in Irland geborener, in Argentinien eingebürgerter Seeoffizier, der die ersten Erfolge der Armada de la República Argentina erzielte und als Guillermo Brown oder Almirante Brown bekannt wurde.
William Brown was an Irish military commander who founded the Argentine navy and fought against Spain and Brazil in the War of Independence. He was born in Foxford, Co.
