William de Longchamp (franz.: Guillaume de Longchamps; † 28. oder 31. Januar 1197 in Poitiers) war ein anglonormannischer Geistlicher. Als Sohn eines kleinen Ritters wurde er ein Vertrauter von König Richard Löwenherz, der ihn zum Bischof von Ely wählen ließ.

Of Norman origin, Longchamp was made chancellor of England and bishop of Ely when Richard ascended the throne.

William Longchamp (died 1197), sometimes known as William de Longchamp or William de Longchamps, was Bishop of Ely, Lord Chancellor, and effectively ruler of England while King Richard I was away on the crusades. William was born in Normandy, and became Chancellor of the Duchy of Aquitaine, under Richard, Duke of Aquitaine, son of King Henry II.

Footnote 94 Peter of Blois also approached William de Longchamp and sought his support against Hugh of Nonant.
