The Wylde Ratttz were formed in 1997 to record tracks by The Stooges for the film Velvet Goldmine. It's infinitely superior to the bitterly disappointing The Weirdness album that Ron Asheton recorded with the reformed Stooges both musically, lyrically and the production (Sorry Mr Albini but that was a rare mis-step on your part).
