Star Performance Academy offers art, adventures in music, and private and group lessons in violin, voice, and guitar. We seek to make musical theatre opportunities available to children and adults. We offer a number of children's theater camps, programs, and lessons for a variety of ages.
Youth Orchestra. Central Ohio’s aspiring young instrumentalists in grades 9-12 perform in this ensemble directed by Associate Conductor of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Andrés Lopera. The 88-member orchestra has students from 19 high schools in nine counties.
Provides performing arts programming for youth ages 3-18. They offer traveling shows for schools and audition-based, year-round performances for various skill levels. Welcome to the Columbus Music and Art Academy, which offers the renowned Columbus International Children's Choir, engaging art classes, and thorough music theory courses to K-12 students in Greater Columbus, Ohio.
Classes take place at our studios at 177 E. Naghten Street, Columbus OH 43215 (Warehouse District) with opportunities to experience the many aspects of theatre from costuming, acting, scenic design, and movement to teamwork and building friendships.
Plays, musicals, cabaret skits, improvisation—Academy children get many opportunities to shine in the spotlight and back stage. Performance is not an extra-curricular activity at Academy but an essential part of a student’s personal and academic growth, teaching accountability and instilling confidence in their talents.
