Ygarrist and Zatovian met singer Zory Zenith at Rodney's English Disco. Zenith was the former drummer for the Los Angeles rock band Shady Lady. 31. Juli 2015 · Formed by guitarist Ygarr Ygarrist and fronted by “mime/robot”and son of a Kentucky coal miner Zory Zenith, Zolar X inhabited their own other planet entirely. In fact, even before the band, the enterprising Zenith enjoyed a brief period of notoriety around LA as “Billy McCartney, cousin of Paul.”
Zolar X is currently Stephen Della Bosca (aka Ygarr Ygarrist), Billy Myers (aka Zory Zenith, Billy McCartney), Raidia Visual-X, Jeff Porter (aka Jett Starsystems), Pattern Timest TBA.
Bleibt also nur die Musik, und anhand "Timeless" kann sich jetzt jeder von der leider längst vergangenen Großartigkeit von Zory und Ygarr und ihrer eigenartigen, aber charmanten Erfindung namens ZOLAR X überzeugen.
Zory Zenith, my co-writer, was in prison on a ten year stretch. Thinking my well had run dry, I was amazed in 2003 when I wrote Astro Tots. After that, it seemed like every day I was composing the rest of the XMS songs and writing the lyrics like back in the day of the Horizon Suite.
