MCK ->MCKL (pin28) main system clock It`s standard for wires of I2S-link. VERF is pin for indicating errors in audio data signal (see page 20 datasheet). It can be not used.

  3. With the AD1955 probably is not possible use a passive I/V because in the datasheet Analog Devices write "Passive I/V conversion should not be used, since the DAC performance will be seriously degraded." and also because is necessary a pull-up resistor.

  4. 26. Aug. 2007 · The AD1955 dac sinks current so it needs an active conversion. The datasheet states that you need the I/V stage able to supply the signal current. And I supose that the 2K R2 and R3 in series with the 12V suplly is doing just that. No idea what is the max compliance voltage at output but it's probably really low.

  7. 11. Okt. 2006 · 11. So here I go again with the ever-more-difficult-and-more-expensive projects. This time I wanted to try out a DAC that doesn't get much exposure around here since you really need a microcontroller to set it up properly - the AD1955. On paper, it's very competitive with PCM1794 and I'd like to give an active I/V a try - everything I have is ...
