Albert Speer's contributions were substantial to both Hitler and Nazi Germany. Speer was both intellectually and emotionally very intelligent, as well as being an architect and committed Nazi. These qualities were incredibly appealing to Hitler, who valued loyalty, wasn't always surrounded by intelligence, and of course failed at becoming an architect
