Andy Warhol, dessen bürgerlicher Name Andrew Warhola kaum bekannt ist, war wohl der bedeutendste Vertreter der Pop-Art. Er wurde in Pittsburgh als jüngster Sohn einer armen Migrantenfamilie aus der heutigen Slowakei geboren.
