God is not a Republican, a Democrat or an Independent. The very fact that God is sovereign over all of mankind makes it ludicrous to believe that He is a follower of either party. The fact is that “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes” (Prov 21:1).
