A plurality of Democrats believed the same, at 46%. 42% of Americans want labor unions to have less influence, tied for the all-time high set in 2009. 30% wanted more influence and 25% wanted the same amount of influence. The majority of Republicans wanted labor unions to have less influence, at 69%.
