Arne Næss Jr. (Urban East Norwegian: [ˈɑ̂ːɳə ˈnɛsː]; born Arne Rudolf Ludvig Raab; 8 December 1937 – 13 January 2004) was a Norwegian businessman and the second husband of Diana Ross.
Arne Dekke Eide Næss (* 27. Januar 1912 in Slemdal bei Oslo; † 12. Januar 2009 in Oslo) war ein norwegischer Philosoph, der durch seine Lehrbücher in Logik, Methodologie und Philosophiegeschichte dazu beitrug, der Philosophie eine Schlüsselstellung im akademischen und intellektuellen Leben im Norwegen der Nachkriegszeit zu geben.
Næss had two children with his first wife Else and was the uncle of mountaineer and businessman Arne Næss Jr. (1937–2004). [1] In 1939, Næss was the youngest person to be appointed full professor at the University of Oslo and the only professor of philosophy in the country at the time.
