Unsere Geschichte - Atlas Copco Deutschland. Was am 21. März 1952 als Atlas Diesel GmbH in zwei kleinen Zimmern und einem gekalkten Stall an der Byfanger Straße in Essen-Kupferdreh begann, hat sich von damals vier Leuten und einem Hunderttausendmark-Umsatz bis heute zu 5300 Beschäftigten in rund 35 deutschen Atlas Copco-Gesellschaften entwickelt.
In 1873 the company was founded as Atlas, in 1917 it became Atlas Diesel and in 1956 it changed name to Atlas Copco. Today Atlas Copco is a company with expertise and services divided into four business areas – Compressor Technique, Vacuum Technique, Industrial Technique and Power Technique – to support customers in some 180 countries.
