Aber unter der Regie von Matt Reeves beeindruckte die Planet der Affen-Trilogie - bestehend aus Planet der Affen: Prevolution, Planet der Affen: Revolution und Planet der Affen: Survival - mit atemberaubenden visuellen Effekten und einer beeindruckenden Leistung des Motion-Capture-Zauberers Andy Serkis.
- Die Oceans-Trilogie. In den 2000er Jahren wurde die Oceans-Trilogie - bestehend aus Oceans Eleven, Oceans Twelve und Oceans Thirteen - zu einigen der erfolgreichsten Filmreihe der modernen Filmgeschichte.
