Our well equipped studios in Wandsworth are available for 121 tuition, rehearsal and recording. A number of bands rehearse at our studios including Bluesology and the legendary reggae group The Channel One Band. The Sound Minds Community Choir rehearse at a nearby community centre. We also offer a weekly jam session and a weekly DJ session.
Originally started as a quartet in Middlesex just as the British blues revival was reaching younger musicians, Bluesology was part of the first-wave of British blues bands, predating bands such as the Rolling Stones and the Animals and were almost contemporaneous with Alexis Korner's original Blues Inc., although the group's members were younger.
The band currently consists of Jagger and Richards alongside guitarist Ronnie Wood (since 1975), and touring members keyboardist Chuck Leavell (since 1982), backing vocalist Bernard Fowler (since 1989), keyboardist Matt Clifford (who first joined in 1989), bassist Darryl Jones (since 1994), saxophonists Tim Ries (since 1999) and Karl Denson (since 2014), drummer Steve Jordan (since 2021) and ...
He spent several years as a member of Long John Baldry's backing band, Bluesology, which also featured a keyboard player named Reg Dwight, who would soon become known as Elton John. When Bluesology disbanded in 1967, Quaye released a single under the name Caleb called "Baby Your Phrasing is Bad" b/w "Woman of Distinction" (1967, Philips Records).
