Vor 5 Tagen · Cecil Taylor / Unit Structures - 日々JAZZ★. セシル・テイラーがブルーノート・レーベルに残したアルバムは、このUnit Structures（1966年5月録音）とConquistador!（同年10月録音）の2枚のみ。 それぞれのライナーノーツを読むと、テイラーはレコーディング・エンジニアRudy Van Gelder（ルディ・ヴァン・ゲルダー）と全く意見が合わなかったようだ。 それでも2枚のアルバムをリリースしたということは、テイラーは「音」よりも「音楽」を優先したということなのだろう。 ちなみに、ミンガスはゲルダ―を全く評価せず、ブルーノートからは一枚も出していない。 さて、一般的にはセシル・テイラーはフリージャズに分類される。
