Wer gehofft hatte, dass die Amerikaner eine super Scheibe abliefern, der kann sich entspannt zurücklehnen und Mean Streets von Anfang bis Ende genießen. Riot (V) bleiben sich selber treu und liefern mit Mean Streets richtig gut ab. Das Album ist mit schnellen Songs und Bangern gut durchmischt.

Vor 3 Tagen · RIOT V veröffentlichten ihr neues Album später als angekündigt: “Mean Streets” erschien am 10. Mai 2024. Ursprünglich sollte das Album ab 16. Februar erhältlich sein, dieser Termin wurde nun um zwei Monate verschoben. Zum Release teilte die Band als Entschädigung ein Musikvideo zum Titeltrack.

This is the band’s third studio album, following Viking in 2020. Go was engineered by Chicago music veteran Matt Mercado at Sonic Palace Studios in Oak Park, Illinois.
