Baal is a Christian demon and the first king of hell, according to some sources. He is the god of rain, dew and fertility in Canaan, and has various names and forms. He can manipulate minds, create illusions, and seduce people with his voice. He is also associated with other gods and pagan idols.

In artistic depictions and archeological finds, Baal took the shape of a bull or ram and was associated with fertility.
