In the 7th European Parliament, the EPP Group remained the largest parliamentary group with 275 MEPs. It is currently the only political group in the European parliament to fully represent its corresponding European political party, i.e. the European People's Party.

Of the seven groups that exist in this legislative term of the EP, the EPP Group is both the biggest and the oldest. With the European Parliament.
The EPP Group promotes centre-right policies in the European Parliament. We have led the reforms allowing the EU to overcome the economic crisis. We now want to push a reform agenda for Europe's future, to improve its competitiveness for more growth and jobs as well as to regain the trust of Europe's citizens.
