Fabio Panetta (born 1 August 1959) is an Italian economist who has been serving as Governor of the Bank of Italy since 2023. He previously served as a member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank from 2020 until 2023.

He is also a member of various international organizations and a former member of the ECB Governing Council.
