Yvonne Ann Gregory (born Yvonne Ann Burgess; 6 September 1940 – 21 March 2015), better known by her stage name Jackie Trent, was an English singer-songwriter and actress. She was best known for co-writing (with Tony Hatch ) several hits for Petula Clark in the 1960s and the theme tune to the Australian soap opera Neighbours in 1985.
Ihre erste Single Pick Up the Pieces wurde 1962 veröffentlicht, aber erst zwei Plattenfirmen und drei Jahre später hatte sie ihren ersten (und größten) Hit: Where Are You Now (My Love)? eroberte am 20. Mai 1965 die Spitzenposition der britischen Charts. Den Song hatte sie gemeinsam mit Tony Hatch geschrieben, der ihn auch produzierte.
Jackie wrote over 400 songs, many in collaboration with Hatch, and a handful with Petula Clark. In 1965, she had a number one hit performing 'Where Are You Now My Love' which they wrote. As a team, they went on to write many hits for numerous artists including
