19. Aug. 2023 · Jerry Jeff Walker loved it so much, he adopted it for his own repertoire. When Walker introduces the song on Viva Terlingua as being from “Ray WYLIE Hubbard,” the Wylie stuck, and so did the rest of the name and “Redneck Mother” into Outlaw country history.
