Sir John Vincent Hurt, CBE (born January 22, 1940 - January 25, 2017) was a English actor whose many roles included providing the voice of Aragorn in the Ralph Bakshi animated film The Lord of the Rings. [1] . One of his most notable acting credits is portraying the character of Garrick Ollivander in three of the Harry Potter films.
