She regained consciousness on the ambulance ride to an L.A. area hospital. She is currently in intensive care undergoing tests and is awake and in good spirits.
Joni Mitchell reunited with her long-lost daughter Kilauren Gibb, who was put up for adoption in 1965, after finding her on the Internet. The singer, 53, and Gibb, 31, met in Los Angeles and visited her parents in Saskatoon. The story of their reunion was a surprise for the media and the public.

According to a Maclean's 1997 article, Joni got pregnant at age 21 with her now ex-boyfriend Brad MacMath. Not wanting to be a father, Brad left and headed to California. On Feb. 19, 1965, Joni gave birth to Kelly.
