Stoschek baute die „Julia Stoschek Collection“, eine internationale private Sammlung zeitgenössischer Kunst mit dem Fokus auf zeitbasierten Medien auf. In der 2007 eröffneten Privatsammlung befinden sich über 700 Werke von rund 200 vorwiegend europäischen und US-amerikanischen Künstlern.

The JULIA STOSCHEK FOUNDATION is a private collection of contemporary international art with a focus on media art that reflects the time in which it was created. Some of the works have a documentary character and show performances that have become fixed in time through filming.
The JULIA STOSCHEK COLLECTION is one of the world’s most comprehensive private collections of time-based art, dedicated to the public presentation, advancement, conservation, and scholarship of media and performance practices.
Stoschek first began buying art in 2003. Her collection features more than 850 works by about 250, mainly European and US artists working from the 1960s onwards and includes video, multi-media environments, internet-based installations and performance.
