The application portal will be open to receive applications for electives commencing between January 2024 to June 2024 as follows: Application portal opens – Monday 26th June 2023. Application portal closes – Friday 4th August 2023. Applications cannot be accepted outside of these dates.
Partner hospitals include Guy’s, King’s College and St Thomas’ Hospitals – three of the most renowned and busiest teaching hospitals in London. Students benefit from clinical placements at district general hospitals located across the south east of England and over 350 general practices.
An update on Elective Placements for visiting medical students. In light of the ongoing uncertainty around international travel and the sustained and intense pressure on the NHS, applications for the Elective Placement in Clinical Medicine short course will now re-open in April 2022, for placements starting in Autumn 2022.
