Laurence Mark Wisefield (* 27. August 1953 in London, England, Vereinigtes Königreich) ist ein englischer Gitarrist und Sänger. [1] Biografie. Geboren am 27. August 1953 in East London, begann Wisefield mit acht Jahren auf einer Akustikgitarre zu spielen, die ihm sein Großvater gekauft hatte.
Turner wurde ersetzt durch Laurie Wisefield, der von Home kam. Die Londoner Band hatte auch schon drei Alben veröffentlicht und ebenfalls mit zwei Leadgitarren gespielt. Er prägte das 1974er Album There’s the Rub mit, mit dem sie zum zweiten Mal Silber erzielten und das sie erstmals auch in Deutschland in die Charts brachte.

19. Sept. 2021 · Gitarrist Martin Turner hat die Band verlassen, für ihn kommt der junge, enorm talentierte Brite Laurie Wisefield, den Powell in New York in der Al Stewart-Band entdeckt hat. Wisefield wird zu Proben in das Haus von Copeland eingeladen und für gut befunden.
