Now in their 18th year, the THE World University Rankings compared data from over 1,600 institutions to place LSE 27th globally and 5th in the UK.

6. Juni 2018 · LSE has been rated as one of the top universities in the world for employer reputation by the 2019 QS World University Rankings. The School was placed eighth in the world in terms of its esteem amongst employers, according to the international league table, achieving a score of 99.9 out of 100.
11. Apr. 2024 · Published annually since 2011, the QS World University Rankings by Subject are based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact. The rankings use data from 1,559 institutions. Commenting on the news, LSE’s Vice President and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research) Professor Susana Mourato said:
It is often regarded as the most politically active in Britain – a reputation it has held since the well documented LSE student riots in 1966–67 and 1968–69, which made international headlines.
