   17. Apr. 2024 · Il 4 giugno 1911, in occasione dell'Esposizione Internazionale per il cinquantenario dell’Unità d’Italia, Vittorio Emanuele III inaugurò la grandiosa statua equestre in bronzo dorato. Nel 1921 nella cripta progettata da Armando Brasini, fu tumulata la salma del Milite Ignoto.
