24. Apr. 2024 · Ride Captain Ride was written by band member Mike Pinera and keyboardist Frank “Skip” Konte. The song was inspired by an old Navy saying, “ride captain ride upon your mystery ship.” The song’s melody and lyrics were composed in a few hours and recorded shortly afterward.
