Neil Sedaka ( / səˈdækə /; born March 13, 1939) [1] is an American singer, songwriter and pianist. Since his music career began in 1957, he has sold millions of records worldwide and has written or co-written over 500 songs for himself and other artists, collaborating mostly with lyricists Howard "Howie" Greenfield and Phil Cody.

1. Jan. 2010 · Neil’s son Marc adapted the lyric. Included exclusively with the book is a three song CD containing two brand new Sedaka songs, “She Moved Away” and “The Tooth Fairy,” composed specifically for this book. “Dinosaur Pet” peaked at #3 on The New York Times Bestsellers List.
Always the proud father, Sedaka speaks of Dara, “who sings jingles for radio commercials” and Marc, “who is writing for movies and television and is currently working on two projects: one a Broadway show based on Neil Sedaka songs with a story, and the other for PBS which is still in development.
