Patrick Pat John Halcox (* 18. März 1930 in Chelsea, London; † 4. Februar 2013) war ein britischer Jazzmusiker ( Trompete und Gesang ). Pat's stature as one of the best trumpeters this country has produced is undoubted, but because he has played with Chris for fifty years, he is almost unknown as a player in his own right.
It is with great sadness that we announce that Pat Halcox passed away peacefully on 4 February, 2013. Pat, who was one of the leading figures in the British jazz scene, was universally loved, both as a musician and a friend among his fellow band members, his peers, and his many thousands of fans.
