Ralph Pierre "Pete" LaCock Jr. (born January 17, 1952) is an American former Major League Baseball first baseman/outfielder. He batted and threw left-handed. In 1975, LaCock hit the only grand slam of his career in the final appearance of St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Bob Gibson.

5. Juli 2021 · Pete LaCock, the son of Hollywood Squares host Peter Marshall, was a first baseman, outfielder, and DH for nine years in the major leagues. He is best known for his 1977 and 1978 years, when he hit .303 and .295 respectively for the Kansas City Royals. His last major league appearance was in Game 2 of the 1980 World Series .

Pete LaCock. The son of TV game-show host Peter Marshall, LaCock was the American Association MVP in 1974 (.327, 23 HR, 91 RBI). The 6’2″ lefthander hit .364 in the 1978 LCS. He left the majors in 1981 to play in Japan.
